SUMMARY:
Historic Landmarks Commission
The Historic Landmarks Commission advises the Council on matters pertaining to historic sites and structures in Salem, administers the Historic Preservation Ordinance, and assists property owners in preservations of such structures.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Appoint Jessica Curteman to a partial term expiring December 31, 2020.
BACKGROUND:
The Mayor reviewed applications for appointment to the Historic Landmarks Commission on June 17, 2019, and announced his appointment of the candidate listed in Facts and Findings.
While this appointment is important to the ongoing viability of the City Boards and Commissions, volunteer positions are almost always available.
