FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The changes to the URA Board Rules are set forth below:
1. Rule 13(e) - Consent Calendar. Minor edits to clarify language.
2. Rule 13(g) - New Business on the URA Board Agenda. Changes the deadline to submit a Board member (“councilor”) item from Wednesday at 9:30 am to Tuesday at 9:00 am to allow the agenda to be published by Wednesday, consistent with the change to Council Rules.
3. Rule 15 - Public Comment. Include sentence that persons appearing in person be allowed to speak prior to remote attendees, consistent with the change to Council Rules.
BACKGROUND:
Urban Renewal Agency Board Rules regulate the conduct of Board meetings subject to statutory requirements set for in ORS chapter 457.
