The Climate Action Plan (CAP) has been received by the City Council and staff is recommending transferring $200,000 from General Fund contingency to fund initial steps in implementing the CAP.

From: Non-Departmental, Contingency, 101-60961000-61110, $200,000

To: Non-Departmental, Materials and Services, 101-60961000-52670, $200,000

 

 

The Public Works Department is coordinating the CAP strategies and implementation. By adopting this resolution, staff will have necessary funding for various studies and analyses as needed to further the CAP implementation. The funding will be re-budgeted in the FY 2023 budget and staff will return to Council if additional funds are needed.
