FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The Urban Renewal Agency Board & Commission Appointments Committee convened on September 2, 2021, to consider applications for the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, and recommends the following person for appointment:
Appoint Jason Staats to a term #1 expiring June 30, 2024.
BACKGROUND:
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 10-4URA and City Council Resolution 2002-18, which ratified the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, provide that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.
While these recommended appointments and reappointments are important to the ongoing viability of the City’s boards and commissions, volunteer positions are almost always available.
