The Mayor reviewed applications on October 15, 2020, and announced his appointments of the candidates listed in Facts and Findings.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Center 50+ Advisory Commission
Appoint Lisa Haines to a partial term expiring on December 31, 2020.
Appoint David Haber to a partial term expiring on December 31, 2021.
Human Rights Commission
Appoint Abigail Allen to a term #1 expiring on December 31, 2022.

Center 50+ Advisory Commission
The Center 50+ Advisory Commission serves as an advisory commission to the City Council and Salem Senior Center Staff in matters related to the operations of the Salem Senior Center.
Human Rights Commission
Salem Revised Code Chapter 8 creates the Human Rights Commission, which states that appointments are made by the Mayor.
