SUMMARY:
Salem Public Library Advisory Board
Salem Revised Code Chapter 18 authorizes the City Council to make appointments to the Salem Public Library Advisory Board.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Salem Public Library Advisory Board
Reappoint Callen Sterling to a full term expiring on June 30, 2023.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council’s Board and Commission Appointments Committee convened on June 10, 2019, to review applications as well as consider requests for reappointment to numerous Boards and Commissions. The Committee, pending additional questions of the applicant below, recommends the candidate’s reappointment for a full term expiring on June 30, 2023.
While this recommended reappointment is important to the ongoing viability of the City’s boards and commissions, volunteer positions are almost always available. To learn of current vacancies, interested individuals may refer to the boards and commissions page on the City’s website at <https://www.cityofsalem.net/boards-and-commissions>.
