Shall the City Council adopt an order to amend the Planning Administrator’s decision for Tentative Subdivision Review and Urban Growth Preliminary Declaration Permit Case No. SUB-UGA18-01?

 

* The hearing for this matter is closed, and no further testimony will be accepted. This item is solely for the City Council to consider adoption of the written order as the final decision.

Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the order amending the decision to approve the subdivision and urban growth preliminary declaration permit, with conditions, as contained in Attachment 1.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:

 

On August 29, 2018, the Planning Administrator denied a consolidated Tentative Subdivision application and approved an Urban Growth Preliminary Declaration Permit subject to conditions of approval. On September 10, 2018, at a regularly scheduled meeting, the City Council voted to initiate the review of the Planning Administrator’s decision.

 

FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

On October 8, 2018 and October 22, 2018, the City Council conducted a hearing to receive evidence and testimony regarding the proposal, and the public hearing was closed on October 22, 2018. The City Council conducted deliberations on October 22, 2018 and voted to amend the decision of the Planning Administrator approving the consolidated application for Tentative Subdivision Plan and Urban Growth Preliminary Declaration No. SUB-ADJ17-09. The attached order provides the facts and findings related to the City Council’s decision.
