SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
The matter of Richard Leonard v. City of Salem is pending before the Marion County Circuit Court. The matter involves a traffic accident involving a City of Salem vehicle and Mr. Leonard who claimed damages as a result of the accident. Through court supervised mediation conducted on March 28, 2018, the City has agreed to resolve all claims associated with the matter for payment of $65,000.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The terms of the settlement constitute a complete release and full satisfaction of all claims related to this matter.
