RECOMMENDATION:
recommendation
Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement with SKSD, extending the closing date to March 31, 2018 for transferring multiple properties between the City and SKSD.
body
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
On October 28, 2016, and as amended on June 12, 2017, the City and SKSD entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) (Attachment 1) to transfer multiple properties to accurately reflect the use and ownership of each parcel.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Survey work required by the Agreement is taking longer than anticipated, and it is necessary to amend the Agreement to allow time to complete the necessary field work and documents. Staff recommends changing the closing date from December 31, 2017, to March 31, 2018, as described in the proposed amendment (Attachment 2). All other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged.
