SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:

 

Salem Public Art Commission

The Salem Public Art Commission is charged with overseeing the City’s public art collection and recommending the Public Art Fund annual budget to City Council. The Commission’s primary duties include acquisition, maintenance, cataloguing and deaccessioning art within the City’s collection. There is one partial-term vacancy expiring October 1, 2019. The Board and Commission Appointments Committee reviewed and considered applications and recommends the appointment listed below in the Facts and Findings by the Council.

 

 

FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

The Council Board and Commission Appointments Committee met on April 7, 2017, and recommends the following appointment.
