City Council interview the three candidates that were unanimously recommended by the Board and Commission Appointments Committee and vote to appoint a candidate to fill the vacancy. The three recommended candidates are Bonnie Heitsch, Vanessa Nordyke, and Reid Sund.

After reviewing and discussing the applications, the Board and Commission Appointments Committee unanimously recommended the City Council invite Bonnie Heitsch, Vanessa Nordyke, and Reid Sund to interview for the vacant Ward 7 council seat on Monday, October 21, 2019.
Background:
Twelve applications were received by the deadline date. Per Council Rule 18, the Board and Commission Appointments Committee met on October 10, 2019 to review the applications and unanimously recommended the three candidates be invited to interview.
