SUMMARY:
The Urban Renewal Agency Board and Commission Appointments Committee convened on February 22, 2019, and following deliberation, recommends the appointments of two new members to the North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board and West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board. Those recommendations are noted below in the Facts and Findings section.

FACTS AND FINDINGS:
North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board (NGRAB)
Appoint Frank Pack to a term #1 representing a resident expiring on December 31, 2021.
West Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board (WSRAB)
Appoint Samantha Ross to a partial term expiring on June 30, 2019, representing the interest of business owners, property owners, and others with financial and occupational interests in the area.
BACKGROUND:
North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 09-6, which ratified the North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.
West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 10-4URA, and Resolution 2002-18, which ratified the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.
