SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 09-6, which ratified the North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.
West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 10-4URA, and Resolution 2002-18, which ratified the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The Urban Renewal Agency Board and Commission Appointments Committee convened on May 17, 2018, and following deliberation, recommends the following appointments and reappointment:
North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board (NGRAB)
Appoint Mike White to a full term at-large position expiring on December 31, 2020.
Appoint Mark Adams to a full term position representing the interests of small and large businesses, property owners, and others with financial or occupational interests within the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area. Mr. Adams’ term would expire on December 31, 2020.
Appoint Dania Ballard to partial term expiring on December 31, 2019. If appointed, she will serve as a resident of the area within or adjacent to the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area.
Appoint Britni Davidson-Cruickshank to a partial term expiring on December 31, 2019, representing the interests of small and large businesses, property owners, and others with financial or occupational interests within North Gateway Urban Renewal Area. If appointed, she will replace Christopher Krieck, who intends to resign as of June 30, 2018. Both work at Salem Electric.
West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board (WSRAB)
Appoint John Hannam to a full term #1 expiring on June 30, 2021. He will represent the interests of business owners, property owners, and others with financial and occupational interests in the West Salem Urban Renewal Area.
