No more than two members shall be engaged principally in the buying, selling, or developing of real estate for profit as an individual or be a member of any corporation this is engaged principally in the buying, selling, or developing of real estate for profit.
The Salem Planning Commission acts as an advisory commission to the City Council with a broad scope of concern in promoting the growth and orderly development of the City of Salem. In addition, the Commission reviews and issues decisions regarding a number of quasi-judicial land use applications. The Council Committee reviewed and considered applications for an open position and recommended the four applicants listed below in the Facts and Findings be interviewed by the City Council on February 26, 2018. There is one partial-term vacancy on the Planning Commission. Ballots are to be cast and counted following the interviews taking place prior to the City Council meeting.
