SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:

 

Downtown Advisory Board

 

This joint advisory board advises the Urban Renewal Agency Board on matters related to urban renewal and tax increment fund allocations, and advises the City Council on matters related to the Downtown Parking District and the Parking Fund.

 

North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board

 

Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 09-6, which ratified the North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board.

 

FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

The Urban Renewal Agency Board and Commission Appointments Committee convened on November 21, 2017, and following deliberation, recommends the following reappointments:

 

Downtown Advisory Board

 

Reappoint Hillary Banks to a full term expiring on December 31, 2020.

 

North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board

 

Reappoint Mike Alley to full term expiring on December 31, 2020. He will serve as a member representing the interests of small and large businesses, property owners, and other with financial or occupational interests within the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area.

 

Reappoint Jason Cox to a full term expiring on December 31, 2020.
