Adopt Resolution No. 2017-40, dedicating the land acquired from F.M.F. Farms and Jeffrey and Pamela Gallagher to the public for right-of-way.

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:

 

The subject properties to be dedicated are depicted in Resolution No. 2017-40 (see Attachment 1). The Gallagher acquisition was associated with Land Use Decision No. PLA 16-08. Blocks B and C are one-foot reserve strips created in the plat of Laurel Springs Estates and conveyed to the City of Salem by F.M.F. Farms in Deed Volume 650, Page 695.    

 

 

FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

Dedicating Blocks B and C created in the plat of Laurel Springs Estates and the land acquired from Jeffrey and Pamela Gallagher as right-of-way will provide access to adjoining properties on the north and northeast end of Croisan Scenic Way S.
