SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 09-6, which ratified the North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board. Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 10-4URA, and Resolution 2002-18, which ratified the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board. The Urban Renewal Agency Board and Commission Appointments Committee reviewed applications for appointments on April 7, 2017, and recommends the applicants listed below in the Facts and Findings for appointment by the Urban Renewal Agency.
FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The Urban Renewal Agency Board and Commission Appointments Committee recommends the following appointments:
North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board
Appoint Christopher F. Krieck to a partial term expiring on December 31, 2019, representing the interests of small and large businesses, property owners and others with financial or occupational interests within the North Gateway Urban Renewal area.
West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board
Appoint Mark May to an at-large full term beginning on July 1, 2017, and expiring on June 30, 2020. This position is currently held by Chris Fischer, who had held the position for two terms, expiring on June 30, 2017, and cannot be reappointed due to the rules for the Board that provide for a limit of two consecutive terms.
