SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
A Comprehensive Plan Change from “Single Family Residential” to “Commercial” and change the zoning from RS (Single Family Residential) to CR (Retail Commercial).
The Planning Commission also approved a Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment for this property as part of a consolidated application. Due to recent court decisions, the City’s process for such applications have changed, and the Map Amendment must now be approved by ordinance. First reading of the ordinance appears on tonight’s agenda.
