FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

The property owner submitted an annexation application to receive City services. The annexation request is for an approximately 4.21-acre territory located in the 4800 Block of Macleay Rd SE (Marion County Assessor Map and Tax Lot 072W32CA02600). A vicinity map is included as Attachment 1. The facts and findings supporting the annexation, zoning designation, and withdrawal from the district can be found in Ordinance No. 11-23 (Attachment 2). The territory legal description and map can be found as Exhibit A to the ordinance.

 

BACKGROUND:

 

The City Council held a public hearing on the proposed annexation on June 12, 2023. Council closed the public hearing, conducted deliberations, and voted to approve the annexation request. The City Council held first reading of Ordinance Bill 11-23 at their June 26, 2023 meeting.
