FACTS AND FINDINGS:
The terminal renovation project is expected to be substantially complete in early June.
Once executed by both parties, the IGA will allow Marion County to reimburse the City of Salem for a portion of the terminal renovation project.
BACKGROUND:
In its work session on March 9, 2023, the Marion County Commissioners authorized up to $100,000 in funding to the City of Salem to offset the costs of the nearly $1.9M terminal renovation project. The authorization includes $50,000 of reimbursable costs in the current fiscal year and an additional $50,000 in the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023.
