FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

The City Recorder’s Office has received the official canvass of votes cast in the election certified by Marion and *Polk County Clerks. SRC 11.340 states the Mayor shall proclaim the results of the election immediately upon receipt of the canvass of votes in an election.

 

*Polk County has certified the results but may conduct a hand recount of Ward 8 pursuant to ORS 258.280(1)(b).
