FACTS AND FINDINGS:
At its June 25, 2025, meeting, the Board & Commission Appointments Committee recommended the following appointment to the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board:
• David Wrightson to a Term #1 to a position of a ‘Business or Property Owner in the West Salem Urban Renewal Area’ expiring on June 30, 2027.
BACKGROUND:
Authority: Resolution No. 10-4URA for Oct/2010, Resolution 2002-18. Five persons shall represent the interests of business owners, property owners and others with financial or occupational interest within the West Salem Urban Renewal District; two persons representing the Salem community-at-large; one person representing the interests of business owners, property owners and others with financial or occupational interests within the Riverfront-Downtown Urban Renewal Area; and three persons representing residential areas within the boundaries of the West Salem Neighborhood Association, or which at least one is a resident living within the West Salem Urban Renewal District.
