FACTS AND FINDINGS:

 

The property owner submitted an annexation application to receive City services. The annexation request is for an approximately 1.91-acre territory located at 4952 Center St NE (Marion County Assessor Map and Tax Lot 072W29BA01600). A vicinity map is included as Attachment 1. The facts and findings supporting the annexation, zoning designation, and withdrawal from the district can be found in Ordinance No. 10-25 (Attachment 2). The territory legal description and map can be found as Exhibit A to the ordinance.     

 

BACKGROUND:

 

The City Council held a public hearing on the proposed annexation on December 1, 2025. Council closed the public hearing, conducted deliberations, and voted to approve the annexation request. The City Council held first reading of Ordinance Bill No. 10-25 at their December 8, 2025 meeting.
