FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Following a review of current applications, on September 12, 2024 the Council Board and Commission Appointments Committee makes the following recommendations:
Citizen Budget Committee
• Reappoint William Dixon to a second term, expiring on June 30, 2027.
• Reappoint Andrew Cohen to a second term, expiring June 30, 2027.
Citizens Advisory Traffic Commission
• Appoint Beth Schmidt to a partial-term expiring December 31, 2026.
BACKGROUND:
Authority for the Citizen Budget Committee is set forth in ORS 294.341 and Appointment Procedure Council Rule 18
Authority for the Citizens Advisory Traffic Commission is set forth in SRC Chapter 5, most recent ordinance 66-2002.
