FACTS AND FINDINGS:
Appoint Devon Lute to a full term #1 expiring 06/30/2029, representative of the Salem community at large;
Reappoint Doug Melzer to a term #2 expiring 06/30/2029, representative of the Salem community at large;
Reappoint Greg Scharn to a term #2 expiring 06/30/2029, representative of the interests of a business owner, property owner, or other with financial or occupational interests within the West Salem Urban Renewal Area;
Reappoint Zachery Fischer to a term #2 expiring 06/30/2029, representative of the interests of a business owner, property owner, or other with financial or occupational interests within the West Salem Urban Renewal Area.
BACKGROUND:
The Urban Renewal Agency Resolution No. 10-4 URA, and Resolution 2002-18, which ratified the West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board, provides that appointments shall be made by the Urban Renewal Agency Board. Resolution No. 12-2 URA amended Resolution 10-4 URA to amend the composition of the Board.
The West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board advises the Urban Renewal Agency Board regarding conservation, rehabilitation, and redevelopment matters within the West Salem Urban Renewal Area and to meet the West Salem Urban Renewal Area Plan objectives.
