The City (Lessor) currently leases (Lease) (Attachment 1) the property located at 2640 Portland Road NE (Premises) to Church at the Park (Lessee). Lessee currently operates the Premises as a hub for the Safe Parking Network Program, vehicle evaluations, Clean Start sanitation equipment parking, and Community Outreach office and storage. Staff and Lessee are desirous of extending the Lease to allow Lessee to continue its mission and plan for future programming.

Staff and Lessee have come to terms on a lease amendment (Amendment) (Attachment 2) for the Premises. Key terms of the Amendment are below.
Lease end date: December 31, 2024 (previously May 14, 2024)
Extension option: Previously exercised, no new renewal option
BACKGROUND:
Revenue and expense funds will be allocated to the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area.
